The B&B was built into the barn of our very old Groningen farm.


According to history, around 1800 the Musschenga family owned a chicory distillery somewhere in the barn. Chicory was used as a coffee substituted (probably during the French Revolution).

  • Cow sleeping room: two single beds
  • Yellow sleeping room: one double bed
  • Bathroom with shower, two sinks and a toilet

In the spacious kitchen breakfast is served.

During the summer you can enjoy the beautiful view upon an elderberry plantation, while during wintertimes the Wadden Sea subsidiary dike can be seen.

Of course, it's also possible to consume breakfast here.

We also have a minibar containing beer, wine and soft drinks.

 

To discover the surroundings of Molenrij, there is many tourist information available, including cycling and hiking describtions.

The rooms

 

This so-called cow-room is equipped with two single beds and a table with to chairs. It is also possible to make yourself a cup of coffee or tea.Temporarily, a piano stands in the room.




A double bed is situated in the yellow room, and also a table with two chairs. Of course, you can make yurself a cup of coffee or tea here too.

Bathroom

 

 

The large bathroom supplies a spacious shower, two sinks and a toilet. Of course, there is a set of towels ready for you.
